AFROPOLITANISM AND THE BLACK BLOGOSPHERE

This book illustrates all aspects of Afropolitanism and looks at 21 black fashion, lifestyle and beauty blogs in the UK and across Europe. It covers financial rewards, marketing realities, aesthetics and inspirations.

Christelle Kedi is an international make-up artist and fashion stylist. She was Director of the African fashion and Arts Centre in London and was recently awarded the title of “Make-up Artist of the Year 2012” in the Women 4 Africa awards. She has written articles in a large number of journals and has been commissioned for London Fashion Week, the Afro Hair Show and the Numbi Festival. The event will take place on Saturday 28th October 2017 at the AFRICA CENTRE, 66-68 Great Suffolk Street, London, SE1 0BL from

2.30pm to 5.00pm. As guest speaker we will have Tolu Omoyele (London College of Fashion) and the presentation of the book and why she wrote it by Christelle
