FabAfriq Magazine

FabAfriq Turns Fabulous 5!!

FabAfriq Magazine is proud to announce its fifth year in print this October 8th 2016. At a time when there are countless challenges to the magazine and digital publishing industry, Africa’s inspirational lifestyle magazine has achieved half a decade of steady growth, entertaining, informing and educating the African continent.

FabAFriq Magazine began operation in 2011, with the brains behind it being the dynamic and resolute Adeline Sede Kamga, CEO and publisher. Kick-starting the vision in Birmingham UK, she expanded her horizons launching the magazine in Cameroon in 2013. From its conception till now, FabAfriq Magazine has been committed to serve not only as a sure source of entertainment, but equally as a cradle for inspiration and education. Throughout its existence, the magazine has stood out with varied innovative and fascinating qualities. This has earned it the award – twice in a row – for Best Media at the Cameroon Achievers Awards UK, an annual event initiated by Washington nt.

The magazine has remained consistent in bringing its audience quarterly issues spiced and seasoned with interactive and vibrant features that keep them glued on and revitalize the soul!
“Our objective is to challenge and dispel the stereotypes and myths about Africa and people of black origin, showing the world there is much more to our beautiful continent and people than meets the eye.” – Adeline Sede Kamga
To commemorate its fifth year, FabAfriq has a series of events planned for the end of the year. Fast approaching in the pipelines is the initiative, the first of its kind, dubbed The Corporate Awards. The Award intends to recognize organisations which are high-achievers and game-changers, who exude positive change, innovation, create role models and provide a platform for people to excel. This unprecedented event is scheduled for December 9th 2016, and will be preceded by yet another initiative, the Women in Leadership Conference, planned for December 8th.

Even in its festive mood, FabAfriq remains in action. With our Lifestyle Issue already counting the days to its release, we are working on our Anniversary Issue. Get Involved! We call on all inspirational writers and contributors who would love to contribute in our Anniversary Issue in an original, succinct and interesting way to write to us. We are so happy and honoured, that you have decided to celebrate with us.
