Grammys 2017: Adele’s Big Night!

The 59th annual Grammy is finally history and what an exceptional night it was for Adele. The English singer-songwriter grabbed five Grammys including the top three categories, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. The awesomeness of Adele’s win was not just that she topped these five categories, but she beat Queen Bey on three counts! Shocker!

Beyoncé’s Album Lemonade and song “Formation” lost the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year awards to Adele’s album 25 and song “Hello”, which was quite a disappointment to all Beyhive members. It would seem there is a feeling of embarrassment and discomfort that comes with consistent winning. Well do not take our word for it… Adele herself felt embarrassed to have won so much she had to take a moment to acknowledge Queen Bey in a tearful speech while accepting her final award, appreciating Queen Bey’s Lemonade album, moving the Queen herself to tears.

Her powerful acceptance speech was enough relieve to all beyhive members in pain.
Well Queen Bey as well did have some wins out of her nine nominations. Formation got her Best Music Video and Lemonade, Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Other mind blowing wins of the night included Chance The Rapper for best new artist and two other Grammy s.
