Lilas LaFleur presents to you her charity single ''GIRLFRIEND''

British-based Recording artist, Lilas was born and raised in Paris(France) of Congolese parentage.
Lilas LaFleur is a gifted musician with something more than talent to share. Her music is very positive and she encourages people not to give up on their lives. Her songs are inspired from her own personal experience and her experience as a Christian. In sharing a gift that God has given her, Lilas has the means to encourage her fans. She started singing since she was a little girl but the age of 9 she started composing music on her keyboard, and has been performing ever since. She has a heart for people who's been abuse physically, sexually, mentally.
Lilas started singing at the age of 4 being a worship leader in churches for years. She has also worked with her uncle, Diblo Dibala who's one of the biggest Zoukous artist in Africa, as a backing singer.
In 2000, she moved to Middlesbrough, UK where she studied at the University of Teesside. In 2002, Lilas participated in the Jumping Jacks singing competition in Middlesbrough and won it twice there, she was in 2nd position at the North East semi-final and was amongst the last 11 finalists at the final after 6000 applicants all around the UK.
Lilas LaFleur supported the Grammy Award Winner NE-YO & features on 'Take my breath' by Jayz's Roc Nation Artist K Koke!. She presents to you her charity single ''GIRLFRIEND'' donated to Womens Aid England & Girlfriend Foundation for DR Congo. She wrote the song 3 years ago after surviving domestic violence in her ex marriage and believe it is my time to help other women overcome. I am not only a survivor but an overcomer who fights everyday to keep her freedom. Her aim is to make #Girlfriends around the world because she is a Girlfriend. . As she fights on stopping domestic violence and also spreading the word about what is going on in her homeland DR of Congo.
