Celebrity Actors To Launch New 18ct Gold Award

This October Birmingham will play host to the seventh annual Black International Film Festival. The Festival, which will run in the city from October 27th October – 2nd November 2013 and remains the premiere Black film festival in the country. The Festival hosts the much celebrated Movie, Video & Screen Awards 
(MVSA (pn: - M Visas)), which takes place on the 2nd November 2013 at the International Convention Centre 
(ICC)
This year’s M Visa Awards will be hosted by the award winning actor Chucky Venn. Chucky is best-known for his role as “Ray” in the BBC drama EastEnders, and was voted this year, as one of the UK’s Sexiest Male Actors, Chucky will be visiting the city to launch the festival’s New Award ( the “M Visa”).
Replacing the old award, the new M Visa is a beautiful artistic piece created and manufactured exclusively in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarters by JHF Castings Ltd who also manufacture various items for HRH Queen Elizabeth II
Chucky will be joined by other celebrity actors including, Emmerdale’s Wil Johnson, and Rudolph Walker OBE to unveil the new award. 
The Festival is supported by Film Birmingham and Birmingham City Council Events team as part of the ongoing activity to promote the city’s cultural offering.
