CAMIFF 2016- Showcasing and Promoting Talents in Cameroon Film Industry


The Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) is an event that will showcase and present a complete immersion into the world of film making with participation from actors, directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, sound engineers, editors, light engineers, students, equipment manufacturers and media. The festival will feature a series of workshops and training opportunities to raise the standards of the local industry; networking events such as the film and equipment market wherein partnerships are encouraged through development.

The Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) is established to help create a vibrant film culture throughout the region. Every May, the event will be committed to putting up exceptional programs to engage and educate the local community, inspire filmmakers and nurture the growth of the Cameroon and African film industry. Its commitment is to present works of Cameroonian filmmakers in competition alongside those by major talent in world cinema. CAMIFF offers Cameroons diverse and enthusiastic audience a means of engaging with their own and other's culture through the art of CINEMA. At the same time, CAMIFF will serve as a platform for the world to discover and gauge the pulse of recent Cameroon and African films/filmmakers.
