Royal Ascot is synonymous with sartorial elegance. This is upheld by the dress code policy, which invites guests to contribute to an occasion heralded as a major fashion event in its own right.

African Ladies Day Royal Ascot 2017 is back for 2017 many African ladies were elated to be part of the crew showcasing African fashion in all its colourful glory. The character and atmosphere was fun and the theme for African women was African Ladies Day Royal Ascot. What this meant was, every one had to turn up in their best African print outfit.

Royal Ascot is all about the hats. While the Windsor enclosure does not require any formal dress code, the girls came out in style. Everyone looked sizzling in African inspired outfits from dresses, skirts, hats, ‘gele’, accessories in African print. Women and men from all over the world came together to watch horse racing with the queen.
The glee, the screams, the laughter, the colours, the hats-small, large, perched to the side…the ladies day at Royal Ascot is a wonder of it's own everyone has to experience. A must see and must experience even once in a lifetime event.
